This project focused on reconfiguring circulation and openings—doors and passageways—to create a more fluid and functional layout.

The original kitchen and bathroom were swapped, allowing the new kitchen to open directly into the dining area. The opening between the dining room and living room was widened, and a custom-built oak-veneered bookcase was designed to connect the two spaces while echoing the kitchen’s materials.

A new coat closet now occupies the entryway, positioned where the former bathroom entrance once stood—now the kitchen. The relocated bathroom was completely rebuilt from scratch.
